Jakarta - After a hiatus since 2018, this time the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) will again hold the Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) 2022. The largest motorcycle exhibition in Indonesia is planned to be held from 2 to 6 November 2022 after previously being delayed by two years due to the Covid 19 pandemic. IMOS 2022 is still located at the same location as in previous years, namely at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
Located on an area of about 10,500 m2, apart from being attended by AISI members including Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and TVS, this event will also be attended by companies related to the motorcycle industry such as component or spare parts companies, including supporting companies. driving, such as helmet companies to other accessories such as jackets.
Another interesting thing is the inclusion of electric motorcycle companies, which are currently mushrooming, along with the issuance of Government Regulation no. 15 of 2019 regarding the acceleration of the production of electric vehicles. In addition to exhibition activities, IMOS will also be filled with seminars, press conferences to safety riding courses that will be conducted by each member of AISI with lots of games and interesting door prizes every day.
"In connection with our support for the government program, we will also invite electric vehicle manufacturers who are currently starting to grow in Indonesia to be able to join the largest motorcycle exhibition in Indonesia today," said Sigit Kumala as chairman of the IMOS 2022 organizing committee.
For information, the previous IMOS activity, IMOS 2018 was attended by nearly 100,000 thousand visitors with a total recorded transaction of Rp. 52 billion, at that time the IMOS arena was also stirred by the presence of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo or commonly known as Jokowi.
