Bekasi – To reduce the number of accidents caused by traffic activities on the streets, PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cikarang held a Safety Riding Training which was attended by employees at the Cikarang plant, which is known as a Suzuki car manufacturer.

The training, which was held from 8 to 11 August 2022, was attended by employees who were previously considered to have committed administrative violations such as not having a driver's license, having an expired STNK, and not wearing a helmet when going to the office.

Under the direction of Harsoyo, as the safety riding instructor at PT SIS, class material and field practice were presented. This training is more aimed at how to drive and the habits of drivers in their daily lives in the form of driving attitudes and behavior. Because accidents often occur because of the wrong attitude and behavior of drivers (not paying attention and ignoring safety factors), besides not having good and correct driving knowledge.

Victor Assani was also present at this training as the head of the Road Safety and Motorsport Division of the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI). In his speech, Victor said, “The main factor that causes accidents is the human factor, followed by environmental factors and motorcycles. So, a good and correct driving attitude, both how to drive and the driver's obedience to the rules (avoiding violations) is the main thing."

The training ended with driving practice which was taught directly by Harsoyo, assisted by Dadan Danil as an assistant instructor.

For additional information, previously in March 2022 PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales in collaboration with PT Indomobil Trada Nasional and PT Indofood also held online safety riding training for around 500 PT Indofood employees throughout Indonesia.

It is hoped that this activity continuously and will be followed by all plates and offices will be able to further improve driving skills and driving awareness with the safety and security of the riders, which in the end will be able to help reduce the number of traffic accidents. (VA).
